Glossary of Terms

Bundles: An array of signed Ethereum transactions grouped together with specific metadata dictating their conditions for blockchain inclusion. Bundles are crucial in MEV strategies for ensuring transactions are executed in a desired order without interference.

Block Builders: Specialized agents in the blockchain network responsible for assembling and proposing blocks. They select transactions, including bundles, that maximize profit through MEV strategies.

Bribes: Payments made by searchers to block builders or validators to prioritize their transactions or bundles for inclusion in a block. Bribes help secure a transaction's place in the blockchain amid competitive MEV scenarios.

Ethereum Blocks: Data structures within the Ethereum blockchain that contain a set of transactions, including standard transfers and smart contract interactions, which are confirmed and stored on the network.

Front-Running: A strategy used in trading where an entity executes a transaction in knowledge of a pending transaction that will influence the price, allowing them to profit from the price movement.

MEV (Maximal Extractable Value): The maximum value that can be extracted from block production in excess of the standard block reward and gas fees by including, excluding, or re-ordering transactions within blockchain blocks.

Mempool: A mechanism used by blockchain networks, like Ethereum, for holding transactions that are waiting to be confirmed and included in a block. It serves as a waiting area from which miners or validators select transactions to include in upcoming blocks.

MEVRORA Coins: The proprietary tokens used within the MEVRORA system to activate and run the MEV Bot, facilitating operations and collective efforts against major MEV entities.

Relays: Nodes in the blockchain network that act as intermediaries, receiving blocks from block builders and securely transmitting them to validators. They play a critical role in maintaining the privacy and integrity of transaction processes until blocks are finalized.

Searchers: Participants in the MEV ecosystem who actively look for opportunities to create profitable transaction bundles. They use MEVRORA's tools and strategies to compete against larger players in the MEV market.

Validators: In the context of Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchains like Ethereum, validators are responsible for processing transactions and proposing new blocks. They play a crucial role in maintaining the security and integrity of the blockchain.
